A workshop for Men & Women weaving into wholeness the sacred androgyne
July 9 - 14, 2019
Enjoy 6 days and 5 nights at Sol Henge Retreat in the idyllic French countryside.
We will immerse ourselves in polarity work that addresses the interior landscape of the masculine and feminine within ourselves. The workshop seeks to develop a relationship with the sacred androgyne through engaging with embodiment practices, meditation and the impersonal use of sexual energy as it moves through ourselves and nature.
This workshop is limited to 16 people.
Eight spots will be held for Women. Eight spots held for Men. Any spot is available for those who identify as They/Them.
From the serpentine currents of the telluric, to the nectarous drops of the stellar, we are creatures of eros, spirit, sea and flower. Regardless of gender, we all come from the womb, the liminal temple of betwixt and between. It is here we return for healing.
We find our feet have chosen to tread this earth at a time of environmental upheaval. A time when the voice of the earth-womb needs us to reweave, reclaim and retrieve our vital, wild, sensual, wise, innocent selves. While there are many roads to healing and wholing, we seek to engage with the holiness that is cultivated between our inner masculine and feminine, catalyzed by the interplay between ourselves and those of a different gender. We call this the interior Sacred Marriage; the journey toward the Alchemical Androgyne.
L’Androgyne Alchemique workshop will address the question of what happens when we, as individuals, give ourselves the time and space to look at the sacred masculine and sacred feminine within. What is created when we start to work with these two energies in balance? What new energy emerges out of a synthesis of these polarities? We will utilize oracular (intuitive) seeing and speaking through the wisdom of body, focusing on the voice of the throat, heart and the root centers.
We will draw on practices from The Path of Pollen, focusing in particular on oracular work, mirror work, movement mediations and ceremony.
The workshop seeks to bring men, women and gender fluid individuals together for healing and inner gnosis. We will walk ourselves back to our original blueprint, working with how we speak, how we feel, and how we love.
Ariella Daly and Gina DeBernardo met at the Sacred Trust in England in 2013 during a Path of Pollen shamanic training. They have worked, studied and played together ever since, splitting their adventures between California and the United Kingdom. Apis Sophia Exstasis is a fusion of their personal skills, experience in shamanic studies, and work they have been cultivating together for years.
Ariella is a beekeeper, writer, teacher and musician living in Northern California. Her work with the bee came through a lifelong interest in human connection with the non-human world. She has studied extensively under The Path of Pollen, a shamanic honey bee tradition based in Europe. Her work is a fusion of her love for the natural world and embodied, wombic practices cultivated through celtic shamanism.
Ariella works as a natural beekeeping consultant in Sebastopol, CA as well as offering workshops and ceremonies. She has over 16 years experience leading earth-based ceremonies including seasonal observances and rites of passages such as blessing ways, entering elderhood, and entering marriage.
Ariella seeks to foster a deeper relationship between people and the natural world through honey bees, seeing the bee as a bridge species between our domestic lives and the wild within and around us. She is a lover of wild places, liminal spaces and the song of the land. She teaches dreamwork, natural beekeeping and women's retreats all guided by the honeyed wisdom of the serpent and the bee.
Gina DeBernardo is a woman devoted to her love affair with life and all it's brilliant facets. Her work has brought her from the warm waters of Florida, to the rugged coast of California, from the tropical breezes of Mexico to the lush hills of England. She moves through life as a lover of the earth and it's people, practicing the embodiment of ecstasy in a pure, grounded form.
Gina is a skilled bodywork practitioner with over 18 years experience. She spent 6 years in San Francisco working with men, women and couples. Her work combines a unique blend of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Sacred Anointment, embodiment practices and shamanic modalities.
Gina has spent years engaged in advanced teachings within the Path of Pollen, a gynocentric European shamanic tradition which holds the honey bee as its central living symbol. She has assisted on many of the advanced programs offered with the Path of Pollen, including more recent work with men. Integrating shamanic methods with her own bodywork practices, Gina works with the impersonal use of sexual energy within the body, to awaken us into our divine eros: our life force, creativity, will and the power we have to ignite our dreams into reality. Her work with clients is a deep dive into discovering your authentic, erotic, fully expressed, sacred self.
The workshop will be held at the beautiful Sol Henge Retreat Center.

WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR:
This course is designed for men, women and they/them who wish to deepen their connection to their own body of wisdom and address the connection between the masculine and feminine principle within.
Pre-requisite: This course is by application only and is available to those who have already worked with Ariella Daly, Gina DeBernardo or other Path of Pollen teachers. It is also open to anyone who has taken a course at the Sacred Trust.
**** We are aware that there are very few men who have had an opportunity to take Path of Pollen courses or work with Gina and Ariella. For this reason we are open to men who are interested in this work and feel they have experience in embodiment work, shamanic work or other personal development.****
Exceptions to pre-requisites made on an individual basis.
This work could potentially be trigging as we will be working with interior polarity within a group of men, women and gender fluid individuals. This means we will be doing practices that involve group work and partner work, regardless of gender. By partner work we mean meditations and exercises where you are paired with individuals of the same and/or opposite gender.
This course is not a therapy group, however the nature of working with the sacred balance of the masculine and feminine can bring up unexpected tears, joys, memories, fears and ecstasies. It is full spectrum work.
This is not a tantric workshop. We are working with the impersonal use of sexual energy, which we define as the life force energy of the earth and cosmos that moves through all things and is healing and life-affirming at its core.W
